After listening to members and members' retailer partners, the Baby Products Association became aware of the huge confusion and contradiction surrounding the new car seat legislation. As the membership base represents the majority of the car seat manufacturers, we believed it to be the Association's duty to produce a document that harmonises the UK car seat industry, combining fact based views of most major car seat brands which everyone agrees to stand by as a position of truth.

This booklet is a comprehensive guide for use by manufacturers and retail suppliers; and importantly by consumers when choosing the correct car seat for their own child or children in their care.
