Grants to exhibit in the USA

Baby products manufacturers and suppliers have the unrivalled opportunity to break into lucrative North and South American markets by joining the BPA’s UK Pavilion at one of America’s fastest growing baby trade shows – ABC Kids Expo, which takes place in Las Vegas in October.  There is also a limited number of TAP funding grants of £2,000 available to help towards exhibiting costs.

Last year, ABC Kids Expo had over 1,000 exhibitors and attracted over 5,300 buyers from more than 60 countries and BPA members participating were impressed with the quality of the show and also the general size of orders placed. Mike Edwards of Snugglebundl Ltd commented: “I found a lead which will make and licence my product to sell in South America and a large Canadian distributor with over 1000 outlets really keen too. It was a benefit to learn how the USA market works in terms of product safety and legislation. I had meetings with quite a few safety advisors and litigation advisors which turned out to be invaluable and will help me to do more preparation for the US market.”
