More about the BPA...Visitors to Harrogate International Nursery Fair can look forward to another bumper event this year with almost 150 companies exhibiting. As well as many favourite brands returning with fabulous new ranges, almost one third of exhibitors are new to the show with products not seen in the UK before.
The show also promises a great international presence with brands from around the world including France, Italy, Spain, Poland and China.
Adrian Sneyd, show organiser, comments: “Bookings have been coming in thick and fast in the last few weeks and as well as some of the large well-known brands, we are delighted to welcome almost 50 new companies with new products adding an exciting element to the show.”
Exhibitors making a huge visual presence include Bebecar UK Ltd, Silvercloud Trading and East Coast Nursery Products, and Obaby in Hall A; Babystyle UK Ltd, Joie Childrens Products (UK) Ltd and Hauck Fun For Kids in Hall B; Lapsi UK in Hall C; Peg Perego in Hall D; and Claire de Lune in Hall H.
Once again, the Baby Products Association has organised a fantastic line up of speakers with a Seminar Programme guaranteed to add value to all buyers attending the show. Market research company GfK will be defining the ‘premium baby shopper’ having noted that 2015 saw a return to value growth across core baby care and nursery products, begging the question ‘is a return to premium a blip or a trend?’ In addition, having carried out an extensive survey in 2015, the Institute of Mums will be giving an interesting overview of the second-hand baby goods market and the affect that this has on new sales. Also highlighted will be ‘Catwalk to Sidewalk’ and how fashion influences parents’ buying decisions; the shift in media landscapes and how best to target marketing; and centralised stock control for multi-channel retailing.
Full details about the show including a full list of exhibitors, Seminar Programme and details of networking events can be found on the website at www.nurseryfair.com – also, if you haven’t already done so, don’t forget to pre-register to ensure swift and easy entry to the show – its free to attend for all trade visitors.
