Alongside the new format of a mid-week show this year, Harrogate International Nursery Fair also announces a change to the presentation of the Baby Products Association’s annual industry awards – BANTAs and Concept & Innovation – which traditionally take place at the event.
At close of business on the first day of the show (Tuesday 28th March) all exhibitors and visitors are invited to the stunning Royal Hall of the Harrogate International Centre to enjoy free drinks and canapes kindly sponsored by Progressive Pre-school magazine. This will be followed by the presentation of the BANTAs which is once again sponsored by Nursery Today magazine and the Concept & Innovation Awards, sponsored by law firm 3Volution.
Adrian Sneyd, show organiser, said: “The free drinks reception has proved hugely popular with a great turn out of both exhibitors and visitors in recent years. With the show now mid-week it makes sense to present the Baby Products Association’s awards during this event as industry colleagues will be able to join in the celebrations, without the event encroaching on the rest of their evening.”
This year there are eight BANTA categories to enter: Travel (car seats, wheeled goods and travel systems); Travel Accessories (travel cots, carriers and slings, parasols, canopies, rain covers, car seat and pushchair accessories); Toys (pre-school toys, bath toys, pram toys, swimming aids); Sleep Accessories (sleep sacs, cot bumpers, bedding mattresses, mobiles and nightlights); In Home (high chairs, cots, changing units, nursery furniture); Safety (thermometers, monitors, stair gates, bed rails); Feeding, Cleaning, Changing (nappies, changing mats, changing bags, toiletries); Best New Product (any new product which has been launched to market after Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2016).
