This event takes place at the Marriot Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London on Wednesday 1st July – full agenda below. We do hope that as many as many industry colleagues as possible will turn up and show their support.

Tackling counterfeits on e-commerce platforms
Jet Doran, Snapdragon
Jet Doran and Rachel Jones will present a short overview of SnapDragon’s work in identifying and taking down sellers of counterfeit goods on e-commerce platforms using registered intellectual property.
Jet and Rachel will outline issues raised by counterfeits in the industry and give advice on how brands can best defend themselves on a limited budget. They will also explain why trademarks can be the most valuable (and often the cheapest) form of protection against counterfeiters on the e-commerce platforms – which might not be what a legal firm would recommend!

Robert O'Donoghue, Competition Law Barrister
Robert is a leading barrister with extensive experience of competition law, EU law, utility regulation and related aspects of commercial and public law. Clients include companies such as British Airways, Google, Glencore, Telefonica, ASDA, Samsung and Marks and Spencer.
Robert will give an overview into Competition Law and answer questions relating to your own business.

Ross Hewitt, MD of Secret Pie
Ross has been working in the realms of nursery industry marketing since his time as Head of Digital Marketing & Ecommerce at Silver Cross and now provides consultancy services to a number of key brands including UPPAbaby and service support companies such as Jade Babycare.
Ross will explore approaches towards getting the right marketing mix to new parents at the right time.
