Do you have a winning product idea?

Whether you are a creative mum or dad with a great baby product idea; a product designer; or a university design student with a project involving a pre-school product, the Baby Products Association’s Concept & Innovation Awards provide the platform to help you on your way to realising your dream.

You may only be at the drawing stage, or have already put together a prototype; the only rule is that your product must not be available for sale prior to 1st April 2014 and the great news is it’s free to enter!

The Concept Award acknowledges products in their visionary phase, for those of you who may just have a drawing or diagram, whilst the Innovation Award is for ideas which have moved further forward and been developed to a potential production stage. Anything will be considered as long as it is for maternity or babies and children under five years – so it could be equipment such as prams, highchairs, nursery furniture or safety equipment; toys, gifts, audio or books and any such related accessories.

The deadline for entry is 3rd January 2014 and a shortlist of entries will be selected by our panel of judges. These shortlisted entrants will be invited to present to the judging panel in Dragon’s Den style at the prestigious Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London and the chosen finalists will be asked to exhibit their product at Harrogate Nursery Fair – the UK’s only nursery trade show – in March 2014, where the overall winners will be announced.
